I am a solicitor who qualified in 2003 and joined Atkins Hope in 2010. I speak fluent Urdu.

I specialise in Injunctions and private and public Children Act cases.

What else would you like to tell us about your role?

Having dealt with Injunctions since day one of my legal career, I have a high degree of confidence in this area and therefore ensure they are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.

I endeavour to undertake my own Advocacy as often as possible to ensure consistency for clients and to carry through an in depth knowledge of the case into court.

Resolution is a national organisation of family lawyers committed to dealing with family problems in a non-confrontational manner. I have been a member since 2004 and am dedicated to their protocol. I am also a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel.

Is there anything else you’d like to tell us?

I have accrued a unique level of experience via much community and voluntary work which I have undertaken since the very beginning of my legal career.

This includes delivering advice at the Family Justice Centre in Croydon; managing a weekly drop in advice session at the Croydon Mosque for eight weeks in 2008 and working closely with Relate and Victim Support providing assistance to those suffering domestic violence or abuse. I was also heavily involved in the Domestic Violence Forum in Crawley where I headed the sub-committee for ethnic minorities.
