Maria Orme

Partner and Head of Care Department

Maria Orme is a Partner and Head of the Care Department at Atkins Hope. She manages all Legal Aid work in the firm and is an experienced family solicitor with over twelve years of experience in family work. Early on in her career Maria was shortlisted as Young Solicitor of the Year by Jordan Family Law Awards.

Maria specialises in acting for parents and children and other family members in court proceedings. She became an Accredited member of The Law Society Children Panel in 2015, which qualifies her to represent children in care proceedings. Maria is a very experienced advocate and frequently represents clients at hearings at all levels of the Family Court.
