Tina Chan

Head of Probate

Tina qualified as a solicitor in September 2002 and is an experienced solicitor in probate, trusts, wills and related matters i.e. Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyships. She is  a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, which is a society which improves the public understanding of the issues families face in relation to inheritance and succession planning and promotes education and high professional standards of its members.

Tina has been practising as a probate, trusts and wills  solicitor since 2004 and so has over twelve years experience in this area. She initially trained as a litigator then moved to commercial and residential property work before specialising in private client work. As a result she has a broad working knowledge of these areas when she advises clients in the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deeds of Variation, administers estates and dealing with associated Taxation and Trust issues.

Tina has worked in Birmingham, the City, Bromley and Dulwich before she joined Atkins Hope in August 2016. She speaks Hakka, a Chinese dialect, conversational Cantonese and she is learning Mandarin.
