Maria Orme


Maria Orme qualified as a Solicitor in 2012 and has practised Family and Children Law since 2009. Early in her career Maria was shortlisted as Young Solicitor of the Year by Jordon Family Law Awards. Maria specialises in acting for parents and children and other family members in proceedings, High Court cases and adoption applications. Maria became an Accredited member of The Law Society Children Panel in 2015, which qualifies her to represent children in care proceedings. Maria is a very experienced advocate and frequently represents clients at hearings at all levels of the Family Court.

Maria understands the emotive and high conflict area of family breakdown and she seeks to advise and support every client in proceedings to achieve the best possible outcome for the client.

Maria has much experience in working with clients that have a learning disability or other issues that make them extra vulnerable.
